Alex, a University of Florida Alum; previously worked as a financial advisor. It was during his work in the finance industry that he saw the need for increased face-to-face service and care for the underserved Medicare eligible communities across the country. As a current native in the Jacksonville area, he continues to solve this problem for more and more individuals, in an effort to grow his reach and positively impact as many people as possible.
Poindexter Insurance Group, LLC was founded in 2022 by Jennifer Poindexter. Jennifer spent almost 20 years in the state education system in New York, most recently as an administrator, before feeling a career change was needed. Jennifer obtained her insurance license in 2014 and has been involved in insurance with her husband Jim, who owns an insurance agency in New York and been in the industry for the last 24 years. Jennifer believes that the insurance industry, more now than ever, needs to provide customers with a personal connection considering how technology is evolving for us all and it's her goal to accomplish this leading the family business.
